The WordPress Switch · one fixed price

Move off WordPress in a week.

We rebuild your site page for page on a modern, fully managed platform. Same content, same look, same Google rankings. Nothing left to patch, and you own the code.

Free check: speed, plugins, WordPress and PHP versions, page count, and whether your site fits the fixed price. Report in about a minute.

The first 10 sites are £1,950. Then the price goes up.

Why switch now

1 in 3 WordPress sites runs on PHP that no longer gets security fixes.

WordPress runs on PHP, the code on your web server that builds every page. Each version gets security fixes for a few years, then stops. On 31 December another version stops, and the share passes half of all WordPress sites.

This week

On 21 October, PHP shipped emergency fixes for two critical flaws that let attackers take over a web server without logging in. Sites on PHP 8.1 or older get no normal update for them, only partial patches for people who build PHP themselves, and the US cyber agency CISA advises taking them offline until they’re upgraded. After the switch, there’s no PHP on your site to patch. Source: CISA alert, 21 October 2026

1

Your host asks you to upgrade

Usually by email, often with a deadline to move to a newer version.

2

The upgrade breaks things

Older plugins and themes stop working on newer PHP, so pages go blank or forms stop sending.

3

Someone has to fix it

Your developer, at their rate. Then it happens again with the next version.

✓

After the switch

There’s no PHP or plugins on your site to upgrade. Keeping it secure is our job, for one monthly fee.

And the plugins.

91% of the 11,334 new WordPress vulnerabilities found in 2025 were in plugins. Patchstack, State of WordPress Security in 2026

See what your site is carrying.

We read your site from the outside, the way Google does, and send back a one-page report.

  • Google’s mobile speed score
  • Plugins, WordPress and PHP versions, and anything out of date
  • Whether your PHP still gets security fixes
  • How many pages and posts would move across
  • Whether it fits the fixed price of £1,950, or a custom estimate if it’s bigger

Does the site have an online shop, bookings or a member login?

We email you the report and keep a copy online. We won’t add you to a mailing list.

Questions

Will I lose my Google rankings?

No. Every page keeps its address or redirects to its new one, and titles, descriptions and the sitemap are carried across. We record your speed score before and after, and a faster site tends to help.

Do I still need a WordPress maintenance plan?

No. With no WordPress core or plugins left to update, there's nothing for a maintenance plan to do. Hosting, security, monitoring, backups and up to an hour a month of changes are all in the £150 monthly fee.

Can my team still edit the site?

Yes. The editor is built for people who aren't web developers: change text, swap images and add pages without calling anyone. Up to an hour a month of changes is also included if you'd rather we did it.

Do I really own the code?

Yes. The site and its code are yours. If you ever leave, we transfer the full codebase and project to you, and you can deploy it anywhere that supports the stack.

What happens to my email?

Nothing. We only change the records that point your website at the new platform. Two of us check them before the switch, and your old hosting stays running for 14 days as a safety net.

What if I want a new design too?

We can do that as a design refresh, quoted separately from £1,500, so the fixed price stays fixed for everyone.

What happens after 12 months?

Hosting and support roll monthly with 30 days' notice. Leave whenever you like and take the site with you.

Is my site simple enough?

If it's a brochure site of up to 30 pages with forms and a blog, yes. The free check tells you which side you're on.

My site is bigger than that. Can you still do it?

Yes. If your site has more pages, a shop, bookings, logins or more than one language, the check gives you a custom estimate instead, priced line by line from Birmingham market rates. Donny confirms the final figure within one working day.

How can it be this quick?

We've built the tools to do it: the content, pages and redirects move across in a repeatable process, so the week goes on checking your site, not rebuilding the basics. We'd rather earn your trust on a small job than talk you into a big one.

Same site. Faster, safer, yours.
